Provider Spotlight: Will Booker, PA-C – For more than 10 years, Will Booker, PA-C, Director of Advanced Practice Providers, has been an invaluable leader and clinician within SouthlandMD. He provides strategic oversight for APPs across our partner hospitals, strengthening workforce development, enhancing service quality, and ensuring APP roles are fully integrated to improve patient outcomes, implement best-practice solutions, and deliver provider education. Will is also celebrating 20 years as a licensed PA and was recognized in 2020 by Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA) as Rural PA of the Year. A recent example of his commitment to improving quality patient care in rural areas is his presentation on Mass Casualty Incidents — A Rural Hospital’s Response, part of Hometown Health’s ongoing education series for rural hospitals.
